"The most fundamental aggression to ourselves, the most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves,is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently."

Jungian Depth Approach and Dreamwork

The Jungian approach works deeply with both the conscious and unconscious mind, drawing on the symbolic language of dreams, creative expression (such as drawing or painting), and the meaningful patterns that show up in everyday life. These symbols, though often overlooked, are rich sources of guidance and insight.

At its core, Jungian therapy is insight-oriented. It recognizes that while our struggles and challenges live within us, so do the solutions. By exploring the wisdom of the unconscious, we can access an innate drive toward healing, growth, and wholeness.
Dream work and creative imagination are powerful tools in this process. They help us connect with the deeper layers of the psyche and open up new perspectives on who we are—our strengths, limitations, and untapped possibilities.

Therapy sessions often include conversation, dream exploration, and sometimes creative practices like drawing. These pathways support a fuller understanding of the self and strengthen our connection to inner resources, leading to greater resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of direction in life.

Dream work

Dreamwork is an important aspect of the Jungian approach to understanding the promptings of psyche.

Images and actions, thoughts and emotions, memories and anticipations are the stuff of our dreams. As inner stories, dreams have much to teach us about the hidden and unknown or shadow parts of our selves, so often unheard and unheeded by day consciousness, yet made accessible to us through our dreams.

Dreams remind us of who we really are and who we have the potential of becoming. Dreams connect us to the wisdom of inner reality, an inexhaustible well of creativity and guidance supporting and directing us on our life journey.

Dreams are so important to steering us along our uniquely individual path, that some have speculated that we sleep in order to dream.
